FLOORBALL
Floorball is played on the field with six players per team. Purpose of the game is to score by placing the plastic ball into the opposing goal that at the end of the field. The player can control and direct the ball with a stick with a curved tip. Players may not use hands, arms, or head to play the ball on purpose, but can use other parts of the body. Legs can be used in a game of floorball (especially to stop the ball rolling), but can not be used to score or pass the ball to a friend.
A floorball team consist of 5 players and one goalkeeper, who wear special equipment and its main job is to stop the ball entering the net. The goalkeeper is not allowed to use a cane. Standard international floorball field size is 40 x 20 meters and enclosed by a board with rounded corners (height 50 cm). The size of the goal is 1.60 x 1.15 m and 65 cm. Sticks are made of plastic or carbon and a bit over 1 meter in length. Stem length of no more than 99 cm and the ends are made from a variety of different plastics. Floorball balls made of plastic, has a diameter of 72 mm, have a maximum weight of 23 grams, and has 26 holes in it.
